AIDS Care Group (‘ACG’) is excited to announce our new Executive Director, Eric Strauss! Eric’s appointment was unanimously approved by ACG’s Board of Directors and he will succeed Dr. Howell Strauss, who has served as ACG’s first Executive Director since 1998. Eric will officially assume the role of Executive Director on January 1, 2024.
Eric brings both experience and a deep understanding of non-profit leadership to the organization. Eric started with ACG in 2010 and was insrumental in helping to shape operations during a period of tremendous growth. Before becoming Executive Director, Eric held multiple senior leadership roles, including Pharmacy Director, where he was responsible for the operations of ACG’s in-house specialty pharmacy and 340B drug pricing program.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Brandeis University, a Master’s in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School, and a Master’s in Public Health from Dartmouth College, Geisel School of Medicine.
Eric remains deeply committed to serving marginalized communities and the mission of ACG, ensuring that our patients have access to high-quality clinical and supportive services regarless of insurance status or ability to pay. His leadership ensures that ACG will continue to address the mutliple public health issues impacting our communities.
